Creative Services

The content on your website can make or break your brand. Regardless of the industry that you’re in, whether it’s fashion e-commerce, providing pharmaceuticals or selling car parts, the need for content should never be under-estimated. Customers are researching more than ever, if the information that they’re looking for isn’t available on your website they’re going to look elsewhere. Often this can be to a competitor, in this instance they’re unlikely to return back to complete their purchase. Don’t let a lack of content lose you valuable customers. Beyond this however, great content also contributes towards your SEO strategy, forming the foundations to a well nourished website in the eyes of Google. This also has a solid impact on your PPC strategy: a website with plenty of content related to the keywords that you’re targeting through AdWords, often leads to lower CPCs than if you were to target the same keywords on a content poor website.

To summarise, great content avoids customer loss to a competitor, reduces the CPCs in your PPC account and helps form the foundations of a great website, contributing towards powerful SEO performance.

Creative Art Direction

Creative Art Direction in digital, is where art meets science. Balancing brand, trade and aesthetic design is a team effort from both the creative team within the agency and your internal business and creative teams. Through immersion sessions and collaborative open forums, we’ll go behind the scenes to discover all we need to craft creative campaigns that set your brand apart from your competitors. Motion and video, photography and graphic design are the mediums that we’ll use to communicate your brand message. Through a strong understanding of your seasons and trade calendar, we’ll craft an omnichannel experience for your customer, unlike any other.

Standing out from the crowd is more difficult than ever before. Discounting has become “the norm” and profit margins are getting more and more difficult to maintain. But there is an alternative. Providing an exceptional experience through first-class customer service, cutting edge creative campaigns and a compelling brand ethos that invites your customer to jump on board and share the experience are factors that allow you to charge a premium and move away from the vicious discounting circle. Part and parcel of this is getting the Creative Art Direction absolutely perfect!

Motion & Video

Whether it’s YouTube, Facebook or Instagram, no social strategy can be without video in their content plan. But building video into your social feed isn’t where it ends, optimising this activity is a never ending numbers game where we measure success against everything from the length of the video, the time in which it gains most visibility, engagement, audience etc ... and this is just the beginning. All of the above helps us to continually improve the video content that you’re sharing to your audience on your social feed.

Beyond social, we can help you with e-commerce video to support website conversion rate, as well as campaign video to  feature on your website.

How to’s, demonstrations and training videos are becoming increasingly more popular. For e-commerce sites, they’re a fantastic way to inspire your audience. For e-training sites they can help to bring learning to life. Where necessary, we would advise that all campaign videos, are supplemented with text to help Google identify the context of the content, which, as mentioned, will contribute towards SEO success.

Whilst it is important to outline the purpose of the video within a design brief, the beauty of video means that it can often be edited (time permitting!) to suit all platforms and end uses. This isn’t a quick process however so it is recommended that a full descriptive brief is written out before hand.

Photography

Photography is a critical part of any website. We’ve seen it done with meticulous attention to detail and we’ve seen it done poorly. Whilst meticulous detail often takes time and generally comes at a higher cost, for e-commerce sites it never fails to generate a higher conversion rate and result in a lower rate of returned items as customers can see clearly what they’re expecting to receive.

Campaign photography requires serious creative licence. Contrary to popular belief, a model and a photographer rarely suffices. In our experience it should take no less than the following the form a successful creative campaign shoot:

- Creative Lead or Creative Director

- Photographer

- Model

- Hair & Make Up Artist(s)

- Runner

- Social Media Assistant filming Behind the Scenes Footage

The purpose of the photography should be outlined ahead of the shoot. Whilst it isn’t impossible to manipulate an image to suit a specific purpose, it isn’t advised.

Naturally, photography will already play a role in your content and social strategies if you’re an existing or established business with a social media presence. In a similar method to above, we can help you to improve the quality of your photography, we can also help you to improve other elements such as the audience targeting, post visibility, engagement, optimal video lengths.

Graphic Design

Graphic Design is what transports an image into a sale generating, link clicking, conversation starting, outstanding piece of content. When combined with a call to action or a sales message, to support an existing piece of content or to stand alone, our team can craft everything from homepage e-commerce banners to infographics or social media ads. Capturing the brand tone of voice, through both imagery and creative content is critical when reaching your audience. If you don’t already own one, we’ll help you devise a Brand Handbook that captures the essence of your brand to ensure a coherent and consistent message throughout all of your customer communications.
